Pakistani MP Says He Will Go to England If War Starts with India
A video of a Pakistani politician has gone viral after he said that he would go to England if a war started with India. The man in the video is Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, a Member of Parliament in Pakistan.
In the video, a reporter asked him if he would go to the border and fight if there was a war with India. Marwat replied, “I will go to England.” This answer surprised many people and quickly spread on social media.
Many people are now criticizing him, saying that leaders should stand with their country during tough times instead of planning to leave. In the same video, when asked if Prime Minister Modi of India would stop the conflict, Marwat replied jokingly, “Is Modi my cousin that he’ll listen to me?”
Sher Afzal Khan Marwat was earlier part of Imran Khan’s PTI party, but he was removed from key positions after he criticized his own party leaders.
This video came out during a time when tensions between India and Pakistan are very high. On April 22, there was a terror attack in Pahalgam (India) that killed 26 people. After the attack, India stopped all imports from Pakistan and also ended some agreements between the two countries.
As the situation remains tense, many people feel disappointed by the politician’s comments. They believe leaders should set an example during difficult times, not run away.
