Baloch Rebels Take Control of Quetta, Army Forced to Leave

Big news is coming from Pakistan’s Balochistan province. A group called the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has taken control of many parts of Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan. The Pakistani army has been pushed out from several areas after heavy fighting.

The BLA attacked army buildings, checkpoints, and important roads in Quetta. People nearby reported hearing gunfire and explosions. The group says they are fighting for freedom because they believe the Pakistani government has treated Balochistan unfairly for many years.

Not just Quetta—BLA fighters have also taken control of other towns like Mangocher and Kalat. They blocked major roads, including the one that connects Karachi to Quetta. This has caused a lot of problems for travel and communication in the area.

The Pakistani military is trying to take back control, but it is facing strong resistance. A former prime minister even said that Baloch fighters are now openly guarding roads and setting up their own checkpoints at night.

The Baloch rebels want independence for Balochistan. They believe the government has taken resources from their land without helping local people.

The situation is still tense. People are being advised to stay indoors, and many areas remain unsafe.
