Colonel Sophia Qureshi’s Family Overjoyed as Nation Applauds Her Bravery
Colonel Sophia Qureshi has become a hero after leading the Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor. People all over the country are praising her bravery, and her family is feeling very proud and emotional.
Her husband, Colonel Tajuddin Bagewadi, is from Konnur village in Karnataka’s Belagavi district. When Sophia appeared on TV to speak about the operation, her in-laws and the entire village watched proudly. Her father-in-law said, “We were so happy and proud to see her speak with such confidence.”
Sophia comes from a family with a strong background in the army. Her grandfather served as a religious guide in the military. Her father fought in the 1971 India-Pakistan war, and her husband is also a senior army officer. Her whole family has always supported and served the country.
Sophia’s sister, Shaina, shared that Sophia always wanted to serve the nation. “From childhood, she was brave and determined. Even during her time in the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces, she showed great courage,” she said.
