Top Terrorist Saifullah Khalid Killed in Pakistan
Saifullah Khalid, also known as Abu Saifullah and Razaullah Nizamani, was a top terrorist working with the Pakistan-based group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). He was involved in planning several major terror attacks in India over the years.
He is believed to have helped organize the 2001 attack on a CRPF camp in Rampur, the 2005 shooting at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru, and a failed attempt to attack the RSS headquarters in Nagpur in 2006. These were serious incidents that caused fear and loss of life in India.
Khalid used fake names and lived in Nepal for some time, where he helped Lashkar-e-Taiba with tasks like recruiting new people, moving money, and planning attacks. After Indian agencies caught many of his team members, he moved to Pakistan’s Sindh province and kept working with the group.
On May 18, 2025, he was shot dead by unknown people in a town called Matli in Sindh, Pakistan. His death is considered a big success in the fight against terrorism. It also happened shortly after India carried out strong counter-terrorism actions under “Operation Sindoor,” which targeted terror camps.
Security experts say his death is a big blow to Lashkar-e-Taiba’s leadership and weakens their plans. Saifullah Khalid was one of the most wanted terrorists, and his end marks an important moment in efforts to fight terrorism.
