In a major operation, Indian police and intelligence teams have arrested 11 people who were allegedly spying for Pakistan. These arrests happened in different parts of India—mainly in Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
The suspects are accused of sharing secret information related to the Indian Army and government with Pakistan’s spy agency, ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence).
Who Were the People Arrested?
The 11 arrested people were from different walks of life. Some were students, some were laborers, and even a famous YouTuber was involved. Here are the key names:
- Jyoti Malhotra – A YouTube travel vlogger from Haryana. She had over 3 lakh subscribers and visited Pakistan several times. She was reportedly in touch with Pakistan-based spies.
- Devender Singh Dhillon – A student from Punjab who is accused of taking photos of a military area and sending them to Pakistan.
- Mohammad Murtaza Ali – A software developer from Punjab who created an app to send army-related data to Pakistan.
- Shahzad – A businessman from Uttar Pradesh who used his spice business as a cover to smuggle information to Pakistan.
- Armaan – A man from Haryana who helped Pakistani agents by giving them Indian SIM cards and military updates.
- Nauman Ilahi – A security guard from Haryana who sent money and messages on behalf of ISI.
- Sukhpreet Singh and Karanbir Singh – Both from Punjab. They leaked details about troop movements during Operation Sindoor.
- Mohammad Tareef – A resident of Haryana who gave secret information to Pakistani diplomats in India.
- Gazala and Yamin Mohammad – From Punjab, this couple received money from Pakistan in exchange for Indian Army secrets.
