LSG Joins SRH, RR, CSK & KKR in IPL 2025 Playoff Exit List

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are officially out of the IPL 2025 playoff race after their recent loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). With this defeat, LSG has now joined the list of other big teams like Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) who have also failed to qualify for the playoffs this season.

LSG’s exit came after SRH chased down a massive target of 206 runs with ease. Despite posting a good score, LSG couldn’t defend it, and the loss marked the end of their playoff hopes. It was a disappointing finish for a team that showed promise earlier in the season.

This year’s IPL has seen some unexpected results, with top teams like CSK and KKR also not making it past the group stage. Rajasthan Royals, who had a good start, lost momentum midway. SRH had an up-and-down season and missed key wins when it mattered the most.
