Apollo Hospitals Crosses ₹20,000 Crore Revenue for the First Time
Apollo Hospitals has achieved a major success this year by earning more than ₹20,000 crore for the first time in a financial year (2024–25). As per the company’s official report, Apollo earned a total revenue of ₹21,794 crore.
The company also made a net profit of ₹1,446 crore this year. Each share earned ₹100.56 as profit (EPS). Compared to last year, Apollo’s income increased by 14% and profit went up by 61%.
In the last three months (January to March), Apollo earned ₹5,592 crore and made a profit of ₹389.7 crore — which is 13% more revenue and 54% more profit than the same period last year.
Health Services and Investments
Out of the total income, ₹11,000 crore came just from medical and health services. As a reward to shareholders, Apollo announced a final dividend of ₹10 per share.
Apollo is also expanding its hospital capacity in many cities. In Bengaluru, a new hospital with 700 beds is coming up in Sarjapur, taking the total beds in the city to 1,500.
In Hyderabad, 160 more beds will be added in Jubilee Hills and Secunderabad branches. A new hospital in Gachibowli is also being built, which will increase the total beds in Hyderabad to 1,400.
Apollo is planning to add 4,300 beds across India in the next four years. For this, they plan to invest ₹8,000 crore. Out of this, ₹2,000 crore has already been spent.
This shows Apollo’s strong growth and continued efforts to improve healthcare access in India.
