Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi A5 in India, targeting budget-conscious users and first-time smartphone buyers with an impressive set of features at a highly affordable price. It is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor and runs on Android 15 (Go Edition), with Xiaomi promising 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches. The phone is available in two variants: 3GB RAM with 64GB storage priced at ₹6,499 and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at ₹7,499. Storage is expandable up to 2TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
