Tata Motors has launched the updated version of its premium hatchback, the Altroz, in 2025. This new version comes with many improvements in design, features, safety, and technology, while still being affordable for Indian buyers.
New Look and Design
The front of the new Altroz looks sharper and more stylish. It now has LED headlamps, new daytime running lights, and a redesigned front bumper. The door handles now sit flush with the car body, just like in high-end cars. At the back, the car has connected LED tail-lights, which give it a modern and clean appearance.
Better Features Inside
The inside of the car is also upgraded. It has a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay without needing a cable. The car also has a new digital display behind the steering wheel, which shows important information like speed, navigation, and even blind-spot views.
There are also many new comfort features like:
- Wireless phone charging
- Rear AC vents
- Voice-controlled sunroof
- Air purifier
- Ambient mood lighting
More Focus on Safety
Tata has made safety a priority in the 2025 Altroz. Now, six airbags and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) are available in all versions. Higher models also get:
- 360-degree camera
- Blind-spot monitor
- Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
- Hill hold assist
Engine Options
The car still offers three engine choices:
- 1.2-litre petrol engine
- 1.2-litre CNG engine
- 1.5-litre diesel engine
You can choose between a manual gearbox, a 6-speed DCT (automatic), or a 5-speed AMT depending on the version.
Price and Variants
The starting price of the new Altroz is ₹6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in four trims: Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished. You can choose from five colours, including new shades like Dune Glow and Ember Red.
