Vodafone Idea(VI) Adds 1 Lakh Towers, But Still Needs Help to Stay Strong

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has added 1 lakh new mobile towers across India in just six months. This means they are setting up around 100 towers every hour to improve their mobile network. The company wants to give better signal and faster internet to its users, especially during busy times like cricket matches. To make this possible, Vi raised ₹24,000 crore, which helped them expand their 4G service and get ready for 5G in the future. Even though the network is improving, Vi is still facing money problems. The company told the court that if it doesn’t get more loans from banks, it may not be able to continue after 2025–26. This is because Vi still has to pay old dues. For now, Vi is trying its best to give better service to its customers, but it also needs more financial help to stay in business.
