Philippines Now Allows Indian Tourists to Enter Without a Visa

Good news for Indian travellers! The Philippines, a beautiful country in Southeast Asia, is now allowing Indian passport holders to enter without a visa. This means Indians can visit the Philippines more easily for holidays and sightseeing.

Two Ways Indians Can Travel Visa-Free to the Philippines:

  1. 14-Day Visa-Free Entry
Any Indian tourist can now visit the Philippines and stay for up to 14 days without a visa. This option is only for tourism and cannot be extended. You must enter the country through main airports, seaports, or cruise ship terminals.
  2. 30-Day Visa-Free Entry (With Certain Conditions)
If you have a valid visa or residence permit from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Schengen countries, or Singapore, then you can stay in the Philippines for up to 30 days without a visa. This is also only for tourism and cannot be extended.

Why This Is Important

This change makes it much easier for Indians to travel to the Philippines. You don’t need to wait for visa approval or go through long application processes. It also helps build better friendship and travel opportunities between India and the Philippines.

Other Asian Countries That Allow Visa-Free Entry for Indians:

  • Thailand – Allows visa-free travel for 60 days.
  • Malaysia – Visa-free for 30 days, valid till December 2026.
  • Sri Lanka – Offered visa-free entry between October 2024 and March 2025.
  • Georgia – Allows Indian passport holders if they have a visa or residency from the US, UK, Schengen countries, or Japan.
