PM Modi Says People of Bengal Have Lost Trust in Current Government
Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at a big public meeting in Alipurduar, West Bengal, on May 29, 2025. In his speech, he said that many people in Bengal have lost trust in the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government.
Modi said people are unhappy because of problems like corruption, violence, and poor leadership. He gave examples of recent violent incidents in Murshidabad and Malda, saying they show how bad the law and order situation has become in the state.
He also talked about the teacher recruitment scam, where many deserving candidates were ignored. Modi said the scam has hurt the future of young people and damaged Bengal’s education system.
The Prime Minister told the people that Bengal needs a government that truly works for the people. He asked them to vote for change and support a government that will bring development, safety, and jobs.
Modi’s speech was part of BJP’s efforts to gain support in West Bengal before the next elections. His words have started new political discussions across the state.
