12 Soldiers Killed in Baloch Attack on Pakistan Army in Bolan
A powerful explosion hit a Pakistan Army vehicle in the Bolan district of Balochistan. The blast killed 12 soldiers, including two senior officers. The attack was carried out by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a group fighting for independence from Pakistan.
The explosion happened in the Mach area of Bolan. The BLA used an improvised explosive device (IED) to blow up the army vehicle. It was completely destroyed, and no one inside survived. The group later said that their special unit had planned and carried out the attack.
On the same day, another blast happened in the Kech district of Balochistan. This time, it targeted a bomb disposal team. Two more soldiers were killed, making the total number of soldiers lost that day 14.
The BLA has been active in Balochistan for many years. They often attack military and government targets. They say they are fighting because their region is poor and ignored by the government, even though it has rich natural resources.
After the attacks, the Pakistan Army started search operations to find those responsible. The Prime Minister and the President of Pakistan strongly condemned the attacks. They promised to take strong action against the attackers and protect the country from terrorism.
These attacks show that the situation in Balochistan remains tense and dangerous, and it may get worse in the coming days.
