23-Year-Old Woman Marries 25 Men in 7 Months, Arrested for Cheating

A 23-year-old woman has been arrested for marrying 25 men in just seven months and cheating them across different states in India. The police caught her in Bhopal after getting several complaints from men who said she ran away with their money and valuables soon after marriage.

According to the police, the woman used fake names and profiles on matrimonial websites and social media to find men looking for a bride. She gained their trust quickly, married them in small ceremonies, and within a few days, disappeared with jewelry, cash, and expensive items.

She targeted men from different states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Many of her victims were simple, middle-class families who were in a hurry to get their sons married.

The woman did not work alone. Police say she had help from people who acted as her fake family or marriage brokers. They helped her plan each fraud and find new victims. Together, they tricked many families into believing everything was real.

The police started to connect the cases when men from different cities reported the same kind of cheating. After tracking her movements, they finally arrested her in Bhopal.

She is now facing serious charges like cheating, fraud, and criminal conspiracy. The police also think there may be more victims who have not come forward yet.

This incident has raised concerns about the safety of online and arranged marriages. Officials are now reminding people to verify backgrounds carefully before agreeing to marriage proposals, especially from strangers or online sources.
