Air Sirens in Chandigarh and Ambala: People Asked to Stay Indoors Due to Possible Attack

Loud sirens were heard in the cities of Chandigarh and Ambala today. These sirens were sounded after the Indian Air Force (IAF) warned that there might be an attack from Pakistan.

Soon after the warning, the government told people to stay inside their homes. Schools were closed, and people were asked not to stand near windows or go to rooftops.

This warning comes after India recently started Operation Sindoor, a military action against terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. In response, Pakistan tried to send drones and missiles into India, but India’s defense systems stopped them in time.

The IAF is keeping a close watch on the skies. Fighter planes are flying in the area, and the army is ready if anything happens.

Authorities in both cities have asked people to remain calm, stay safe indoors, and follow official news for updates. They also requested everyone not to spread rumors or fake news.

The situation is serious, but under control for now.
