Amit Shah Says BJP-AIADMK Will Win Tamil Nadu Election in 2026
Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Madurai on June 8 and spoke at a big public meeting. During his speech, he said that the BJP and AIADMK alliance will win the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections in 2026 and form the next government.
He criticized the current ruling party, DMK, saying they have not done a good job. He accused them of being involved in corruption and not keeping their promises. He mentioned issues like scams in nutrition kits and illegal liquor sales.
Amit Shah told the people that he cannot defeat the DMK alone—but said the people of Tamil Nadu have the power to change the government with their vote. He asked BJP and AIADMK workers to work hard at the local level to win more support.
He also said that even though the BJP is in Delhi, it cares about the problems and progress of Tamil Nadu. He pointed out that people in other states like Odisha and Maharashtra are supporting the BJP, and he believes the same will happen in Tamil Nadu.
With this statement, Amit Shah made it clear that the BJP-AIADMK team is preparing strongly for the 2026 elections. The political fight between the DMK and the BJP-led alliance is likely to get more intense in the coming months.
