Amit Shah Shares That 1.25 Lakh Litres of Fuel Were Burned in the Plane Crash
Home Minister Amit Shah said that around 1.25 lakh litres of fuel were burned in the recent Ahmedabad to London plane crash. He called the accident a very sad and serious incident and shared his deep sorrow for the lives lost.
Speaking to reporters, Amit Shah explained that the plane was fully loaded with fuel for the long journey. When the crash happened, the large amount of fuel caused a huge fire, making rescue efforts very difficult. Firefighters and emergency teams reached quickly but faced challenges because of the intense flames and smoke.
Amit Shah promised that the government will do everything it can to help the families of those who died. This includes financial help and support with legal and travel processes. He added that steps will be taken to improve air travel safety so that such accidents do not happen again.
