Assam CM to Expose 2,600 Foreign Facebook Accounts in 10 Days
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that around 2,600 Facebook accounts are being run from outside India and are focusing only on topics related to Assam and Palestine. He claimed that these accounts are being operated from places like Islamabad (Pakistan), Riyadh, and Saudi Arabia.
According to the Chief Minister, these accounts avoid talking about national leaders like Rahul Gandhi. Instead, they seem to support a particular political leader from Assam. He suggested that this may be an organized effort to influence politics in the state.
“I have documents to prove it,” said Sarma. “In the next 10 to 12 days, I will share details about these accounts with the media.”
His statement has created a buzz in political circles. People are now waiting for more information and to see what actions will be taken if his claims are true.
