Did the U.S. Build a Secret Underground City for the Rich?

A former U.S. government official has made a surprising claim — that the U.S. secretly built an underground “city” to protect rich and powerful people in case of a disaster or doomsday event.

Catherine Austin Fitts, who once worked as an Assistant Secretary in the U.S. government, said that $21 trillion of taxpayer money was used between 1998 and 2015 to build about 170 hidden bunkers across the country. She shared this information in an interview on a podcast hosted by Tucker Carlson.

According to her, these bunkers are connected by underground transport systems and may use secret energy technologies known only to the military. She also said these places could be used for top-secret projects, like a “secret space program.”

Fitts based her claims on a 2017 study by economist Mark Skidmore, who found that the U.S. government had huge amounts of missing money in departments like Defense and Housing.

While it’s true that the U.S. has some known underground facilities like the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, there is no official proof that such a large network of secret bunkers for the wealthy actually exists.

Many people are now asking questions about how public money is spent and whether such secret projects are real or just rumors. So far, the U.S. government has not confirmed these claims.
