Hyderabad to Get Its Own Eco Town with Japanese Collaboration
Hyderabad is planning to build a special Eco Town that will focus on keeping the city clean, green, and environmentally friendly. This project is being done with the help of Japanese companies who have experience in managing waste, recycling, and creating eco-friendly cities.
The idea started when Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited Kitakyushu, a city in Japan known for turning itself from a polluted place into one of the cleanest cities in the world. During his visit, the Telangana government signed agreements with Japanese companies to work together on the Eco Town project in Hyderabad.
The new Eco Town will include advanced systems for waste management, recycling, and clean industries. It will follow a “circular economy” model, which means using resources wisely and making sure very little is wasted.
There are also discussions to start direct flights between Hyderabad and Kitakyushu and to open a Japanese language school in Hyderabad. This will help build a stronger connection between the two cities.
The Eco Town will be an important step in making Hyderabad a modern, clean, and green city. It will not only help the environment but also create jobs and inspire other cities in India to do the same.
