Operation Sindoor triggers massive ₹50,000 crore push for defence modernization.

Following the successful completion of Operation Sindoor, the Indian government has announced a major boost of ₹50,000 crore for the country’s armed forces. This move is seen as a strong step to make the military more powerful and better prepared for future threats.

The decision comes soon after the Indian Army carried out precision strikes on terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, which was considered a major success. With the newly sanctioned budget, the government plans to equip the Army, Navy, and Air Force with advanced weapons, drones, missile systems, radars, and modern technology.

A major focus of the fund will also be to support local defence manufacturing under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. This will not only reduce dependence on foreign equipment but also create new jobs and boost the economy.

The public has welcomed the move, with many praising the government’s commitment to national security. “To protect our country, our soldiers must have the best tools and support,” is the common sentiment among citizens.

Officials say this ₹50,000 crore package will help make India’s military stronger, smarter, and more prepared to face any challenges. It ensures that the forces are not only ready to respond but can also prevent threats before they grow.
