Protest in Los Angeles Turns Violent as Masked Looters Target Apple Store

A peaceful protest in Los Angeles turned into chaos when a group of masked people started looting shops and damaging property. One of the main targets was an Apple Store, where the looters broke windows and stole products.

The protest was originally organized to raise concerns about immigration actions. Hundreds of people had gathered peacefully, carrying signs and chanting. But as the protest went on, a small group wearing masks used the crowd as cover and began breaking into stores.

The Apple Store was one of the first hit. Witnesses said looters rushed in, grabbed expensive electronics, and ran away quickly. Several other nearby stores were also attacked. Their windows were broken, items were stolen, and shelves were left empty. Some small business owners tried to stop the looters, but they were outnumbered and couldn’t do much.

Police arrived after the looting started and tried to control the situation. They made a few arrests, but many of the looters escaped. Officers are now checking video footage to find out who was involved. More police have been sent to the area to make sure things stay calm.

City leaders spoke out against the violence. They said people have every right to protest peacefully, but destroying property and stealing is wrong. The mayor’s office said these actions hurt local business owners and take attention away from the real reasons for the protest.

The city is now trying to clean up the damage and restore order. Many people are calling for peace and asking others not to let a few bad actors ruin a peaceful movement. The message from officials and community members is clear: protest peacefully, don’t destroy.
