Shocking Incident: Customer Finds Fried Lizard in Chicken Biryani at Mehfil Hotel in Ibrahimpatnam

A shocking incident took place at Mehfil Hotel on Sagar Road in Ibrahimpatnam, where three customers found a fried lizard in the chicken biryani they were served.

G. Krishna Reddy, a resident of Sheriguda village, along with two others, visited the restaurant and ordered chicken biryani. After the food was served, they were stunned to find a fried lizard inside the biryani.

When they questioned the waiter, he said he didn’t know anything about it. The group then spoke to the restaurant manager, hoping for a serious response. But to their surprise, the manager told them to eat the lizard, saying it was “fried nicely.”

Angered by this, Reddy and his friends went straight to the Ibrahimpatnam police station and filed a complaint. Sub-Inspector V. Chander Singh confirmed that a complaint was received, and they have summoned the restaurant manager Razack for questioning. He also said that a case will be registered soon.

Apart from the police, the customers also filed a complaint with the municipal office and food safety department, asking them to take action against the hotel.

This incident has raised serious concerns about the food quality and hygiene at local restaurants. Many people are now demanding strict checks and regular inspections to make sure such things don’t happen again.
