Ashwin Says Bumrah and Jadeja Can Be Future Test Captains

Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has suggested that Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja should be seriously considered for India’s Test captaincy in the future.

Ashwin said that both Bumrah and Jadeja have shown great leadership qualities on the field. He praised Bumrah for staying calm during tough situations and making smart decisions, and said Jadeja understands the game well and always gives his best in all departments – batting, bowling, and fielding.

At present, Rohit Sharma is leading the Indian Test team. But as the team starts thinking about future changes, Ashwin believes Bumrah and Jadeja are strong candidates to take over the captain’s role.

He also added that it’s not always necessary to pick only batters as captains, and bowlers or all-rounders like Bumrah and Jadeja can also do a great job leading the team.

Ashwin’s opinion has sparked discussions among fans and cricket experts about whether India should try something new and trust a bowler or all-rounder as their next Test captain.
