Hyderabad, May 5, 2025 — The IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) was stopped due to heavy rain and could not be completed. Because of the weather, both teams got one point each.

Delhi’s Struggle with the Bat

Delhi Capitals batted first but had a poor start. They lost 5 wickets very quickly. But two young players, Tristan Stubbs and Ashutosh Sharma, played well and helped the team reach 133 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Pat Cummins from SRH bowled very well and took 3 wickets.

After the first innings, the rain started and didn’t stop. The ground became too wet, and the second innings could not be played. So the match was called off.
